These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Minoqtopus, a memory capsule app for iOS and Android. By downloading, accessing, or using Minoqtopus, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who may use Minoqtopus
You must be at least 13 years old to use Minoqtopus. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you.
2. Your account
You may sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your account and device secure, and for activity carried out through your account. Information you provide must be accurate and must not impersonate another person.

3. Your content
You keep ownership of memories, capsules, journal entries, comments, photos, videos, voice notes, documents, and other content you submit (“Your Content”).
You give Minoqtopus a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the features you choose to use. This license ends when Your Content is deleted, except for temporary backups or where retention is legally required.
You are responsible for Your Content and must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share it. Privacy settings and shared rooms control who may see content, but no online service can guarantee absolute confidentiality.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Minoqtopus to:
- Break any applicable law or violate another person’s rights
- Upload illegal, abusive, threatening, exploitative, or deliberately harmful content
- Harass, stalk, impersonate, defraud, or mislead another person
- Share private information about someone without permission
- Introduce malware, interfere with security, scrape the service, or attempt unauthorized access
- Reverse engineer or misuse the app except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Use automated systems to overload or disrupt Minoqtopus
We may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with law.
5. Shared rooms and public features
Content shared with a room, friend, public audience, or ranking feature may be viewed or copied by others who have access. Choose your audience carefully. Room owners or participants may have controls that affect shared content and membership.
6. Capsules and reminders
Minoqtopus may let you choose future unlock dates and save reminders to your calendar. Device settings, time zones, notification permissions, service interruptions, or calendar behavior can affect delivery. An unlock time or reminder is not guaranteed to occur at an exact moment.
7. Premium, coins, and purchases
Premium subscriptions, coin packs, XP, artifacts, and other digital items may be offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, taxes, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by the store through which you purchased and are subject to that store’s terms.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account before renewal. Digital items have no cash value, cannot be transferred unless the app expressly allows it, and may not be redeemed outside Minoqtopus.
We may change available plans or features prospectively. Any legally required notice will be provided.
8. Advertising
Minoqtopus may display ads, including optional rewarded ads that you can watch in exchange for rewards such as coins. Rewarded ads are voluntary; rewards are granted only when a rewarded ad is completed successfully.
Ads may be served by third-party networks such as Google AdMob. These networks may collect device information, advertising identifiers, and ad interaction data under their own terms and privacy policies. Ad content is provided by the advertiser or network, and we do not control or endorse it.
You must not interfere with ads, generate artificial ad impressions or clicks, or use tools or methods to bypass, block, or manipulate ads or rewarded rewards.
9. AI features
Optional AI features may generate insights, summaries, or other output based on content you choose to provide. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. Do not rely on it as professional, medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice. You remain responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use AI output.
10. Device permissions and third-party services
Some features depend on device permissions or services provided by Google, Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, Supabase, Google AdMob, or Google Gemini. Their separate terms may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
11. Intellectual property
Minoqtopus, including its name, app icon, design, software, and original content, is owned by or licensed to Minoqtopus and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the app to you.
12. Service availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the app available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You should keep copies of important content where appropriate.
13. Account suspension and termination
You may stop using the app or delete your account through the available in-app option. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or harm, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Minoqtopus is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Minoqtopus and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the app. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Minoqtopus during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice for important changes where appropriate. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Pakistan, unless applicable consumer law or a store platform’s mandatory rules require otherwise.
