How to delete your account
You can delete your Minoqtopus account at any time from inside the app:
- Open Minoqtopus and go to Settings.
- Scroll down and select Security.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Choose a reason for deleting your account.
- Confirm the account deletion.
What happens to your data
When you delete your account, all of your data will be deleted, including:
- Your profile, name, email, photos, and account details
- All memories, capsules, and locked messages
- Your journal pages and entries
- Shared rooms and albums you created
- Photos, videos, voice notes, and other files you uploaded
- Your streaks, levels, stats, artifacts, and progress
- Your Premium subscription status and remaining coins
This deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered and you cannot restore the account.
Things to know before deleting
- Content you shared with others in rooms or albums may still appear to them after your account is deleted.
- Active Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
- Some records may be kept for a short period where required by law, such as payment records.
